Refund Policy

📦 Technificent – Returns & Refunds Policy

At Technificent, we understand that sometimes customers may need to return their handset — whether due to a change of mind or an unexpected issue.
Our goal is to make the process simple, fair, and transparent.

Please read the following carefully to understand how our returns and refunds process works.

🌀 1. Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 7-day change of mind return period from the date you receive your device.

To qualify:

  • The handset must be in the exact same condition as when you received it.

  • It must not be damaged, scratched, or altered in any way.

  • All original accessories, packaging, and documentation must be included.

If the device and packaging are returned in the original condition and show no signs of use, you will receive a full refund.

⚙️ 2. Faulty Device Returns

In the rare event your handset develops a fault through no fault of your own, you have 21 days from the date of receipt to request a return or exchange.

All devices are covered by our 3-month limited warranty.
However, please note that user damage (such as drops, cracks, water damage, or tampering) is not covered under warranty.

If our diagnostic team finds that the issue was caused by user damage, a handling fee of R300 will apply to cover inspection and courier costs.

🔋 3. Battery Health Returns

Battery performance naturally decreases over time with use.
Returns based solely on battery health concerns are valid only within 7 days of receiving your device.
After this period, normal battery wear is considered standard usage and not a fault.

🚚 4. Returns Process

To start a return, please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Contact us at 📧 sales@technificent.co.za to request a Return Authorization Number (RAN).

    • You will receive a returns form and further instructions via email.

  2. Backup all your data, then factory reset and wipe your device.

  3. Remove any security locks or iCloud accounts before returning your device.
    ⚠️ Important: Returns will not be processed if a device is locked.
    Locked devices will be returned to you, and a handling fee may apply.

  4. Complete the returns form and include it with your package.
    Incomplete forms may cause processing delays.

  5. Package the device securely with all accessories and original contents.

  6. Ship the device via a secure, tracked and insured courier service to the return address provided in your confirmation email.

Please note:

  • You are responsible for the device until it safely reaches our warehouse.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked courier to avoid loss or delays.

💳 5. Refund Timeline

Once your returned device is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Please allow a few extra days for your bank or payment provider to reflect the refund.

🚫 6. Exclusions

Returns or refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

  • Evidence of user damage (cracked screen, liquid damage, etc.)

  • Devices with removed or replaced components

  • Devices returned without original accessories or packaging

  • Devices that are locked or not reset

  • Returns requested after the applicable return period
